Service Description

In this 3 week course we will learn how to work the Candle of Hope shawl pattern. Worked flat using simple yarn overs and decreases, this shawl is a great introduction to lace knitting! The loose gauge and airy pattern make this wrap wearable in all seasons. Students should be confident in their knit and purl stitches, decreases, and increases. 4 skeins of Premier Yarns Ever Soft in your choice of color are included in this course. We will be working on size 9 needles (24" circulars work well). These needles can be purchased at the store or you can use your own from home. If you would like to upgrade to Sweet Georgia Worsted you can for just $20/skein (normally $28). Ages 12+
